Statement of Account

What is a Statement of Account?
 
A "Statement of Account" is a separate document provided to the title or escrow company.  The Statement of Account is typically included in the resale packet along with the Resale Certificate and governing documents.
 
The Statement of Account will list delinquent assessments, violation fees, late fees, and the property owner's current balance due to RVA.  This will also include yearly assessment fees for lots in RVA and any condo unit in RVA which does the billing.
 
How to Obtain a Statement of Account?
 
A title company or escrow company representing the seller will request a Statement of Account from the RVA Board of Directors.
