Swimming Pool - Policies & Rules

The Rayburn Village Association (RVA) Swimming Pool is privately owned and funded by the annual assessments of RVA members.  The RVA Board of Directors administers the Pool Rules and Regulations.  The swimming pool is a Junior Olympic pool with a diving board.  The depth of the pool ranges from 3' - 3'1/2' feet to 12' feet in depth.  The pool has tables, chairs, and lounge chairs for you to relax by the pool.   The safety of the residents and guests is a primary concern, so safety rules are enforced.

NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY.  The pool is "Swim at Your own Risk." Residents and guests may use the swimming pool area with the understanding that there is no lifeguard on duty at any time.  In case of an emergency, call 911.

Guest of Property Owner Policy

Guests of RVA members are welcome; however, there is a daily guest fee of $5.00 per guest per day, and RVA members must accompany their guests.  The guest fees should be placed in the collection box on the front wall of the pool.  A "guest' is defined as anyone who is not immediate family.

Pool Key Policy

A "Pool Key" is required for entry into the pool.  The pool is locked at all times; members must use a key to gain access.

The following guidelines are intended to provide Rayburn Village Association (RVA) with Pool Key management to create a safe environment for residents, improve security, and reduce the potential for loss or theft of property.

  • All Pool keys are the exclusive property of the Rayburn Village Association (RVA).
  • A Rayburn Village Association (RVA) member can acquire a single Pool Key per the property owner’s RVA mailing address.
  • Each key will be issued to the RVA member after they have completed the Rayburn Village Association Pool Key Agreement form.
  • A refundable deposit of $25.00 (cash or check) will be collected from the resident at the issue of the Pool key.
  • When residents sell their property, their keys shall be returned to the Rayburn Village Association Board of Directors. At this time, the resident will receive a refund of their deposit.  If the key is not returned, a $50.00 replacement fee will be added to the property owner’s Resale Certificate.
  • A $50.00 non-refundable replacement fee will be charged if a Pool key is lost.
  • Under no circumstances will a resident be allowed to obtain more than one Pool key.

Rental Tenant Pool Policy

A rental property tenant is considered a "guest" at the pool, and tenants must pay a daily guest fee of $5.00 per guest per day.  If tenants do not pay the guest fee, the property owner (landlord) can be held responsible.

Non-Property Owner Pool Membership Policy

The "Non-Property Owner Membership Pool Agreement" will allow the "Primary Applicant" access to the RVA pool for one summer, a "Swim Season." The "Primary Applicant" can name up to 5 additional persons to be included in their membership; the 5 additional persons will be considered guests of the "Primary Applicant"; however, a fee of $5.00 per guest per visit is required.  The guest fees should be placed in the collection box on the front wall of the pool near the pool entrance.  Please honor the costs of guests.  The "Primary Applicant" must always accompany their 5 listed guests; otherwise, this could terminate the "Primary Applicant" agreement without a refund.

Pool Rules

  • The pool is exclusively for RVA property owners, immediate family, and authorized guests.
  • The "Pool Key" is required for entry into the pool.
  • All members and guests must sign in before entering the pool.  Please record your section, lot number, and the number of people with your group.
  • Tenants of rental properties must pay a guest fee of $5.00 per person per visit.

  • No children under 13 will be allowed in the gated area at any time unless accompanied and supervised by a parent or custodian at least 18 years of age.
  • No alcoholic beverages are permitted in the pool (gated area).

  • Members and guests must clean up after themselves and take all personal items before departure from the pool.  Rayburn Village Association is not responsible for personal items.
  • RVA Board of Directors reserves the right to deny access to the pool to anyone at any time.
  • Guest fees are $5.00 per person.  Money should be placed in the black box.
  • Failure to comply with the rules could affect your ability to use the pool.
